Homr Homeowner Agreement

Homr is operated by IFIXIT Listing Services · Effective October 9th, 2026

This agreement

Homr is operated by IFIXIT Listing Services (“we,” “us”), 264 NW Walker St, Gentry, AR 72734. Homeowner accounts are free. This agreement explains how hiring and paying work on Homr, on top of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply.

What Homr is for you

Homr keeps your home’s record, plans and upkeep in one place, and connects you with your real estate agent and with Vendors (contractors and other service businesses). Homr is not a contractor, does not do the work, and is not part of the agreement between you and a Vendor.

Your home and who sees it

Your home’s record is yours. An agent you pair with sees only the plans and tasks you share with them, and you can end a pairing at any time. A Vendor sees only what they need for the work you have asked them to do.

When you sell your home

Your home’s record (its information, maintenance history, repairs, documents and expenses) stays yours and stays private after you sell. Homr never transfers it to the new owner. You keep access to it in your account.

Your privacy

No one at Homr can sign in as you or see your account the way you see it. If you need help, our support team sees your screen only when you start a support call and choose to share it, and you can stop sharing at any time. Homr staff do not browse your home’s record, plans, documents, messages or payments. We look at your records only when we need to: to keep Homr running and secure, to handle payments, to follow up a complaint or a flagged job, or because the law requires it. Every look is recorded with who and when.

Decision Makers

Real commitments (approving a Quote, booking a time, accepting finished work and paying) can be made only by a Decision Maker for the home. A home can have several, and its Primary Decision Maker chooses them. Every commitment is recorded with who made it and when.

People and things you add

If you add household members, other Decision Makers, photos or documents, you confirm you are allowed to. The Primary Decision Maker is responsible for who they add to the home.

Your agent

Your real estate agent is an independent professional, not part of Homr. Their advice and recommendations are their own. Homr is not a real estate broker.

Hiring a Vendor

Vendors are independent businesses. Homr does not employ, supervise, endorse or guarantee them, and does not verify their licences or insurance. Check what matters to you before you hire.

A Vendor your agent recommends, or one the Homr Vendor Network shows you, is not Homr recommending them.

A Quote is the Vendor’s offer. When you approve it, the agreement for that work is between you and the Vendor. Approving one Quote declines the other Quotes for the same work.

Paying

You pay the Vendor directly, into the Vendor’s own Stripe account. Homr adds no fee. Homr never holds, delays or starts a payment: you are charged only when you tap Pay, including with a saved card.

When a Vendor marks work done, you have 2 days to accept it or flag an issue, and the final payment is due after that. Always pay the company, never a person. If a Vendor’s company is not on Homr yet, you pay them outside Homr and can record the payment here.

Problems and refunds

If something is wrong, raise it with the Vendor through the job’s messages or by flagging the issue. Refunds are the Vendor’s to give. Homr is not a middleman: we cannot refund, reverse or hold back a payment, and we do not decide disputes between you and a Vendor. You can also dispute a card or bank charge with your card company or bank.

Access to your home

You decide which access details, such as lockbox or gate codes, to share. A Vendor sees them only while assigned to your work.

Scores, reminders and estimates

The Upkeep Score, maintenance reminders, readiness charts and estimates such as how long a roof or an appliance should last are general guides built from what has been entered. They are not inspections, and they do not replace one. You stay responsible for your home’s upkeep and safety.

Reminders and notifications can arrive late or not at all (an email filtered, a phone switched off). Do not rely on them alone for anything urgent.

Not for emergencies

Homr is not an emergency service. For a gas leak, fire, flooding or anything dangerous, call 911 or your utility first, not a Vendor through Homr.

Reviews

Reviews should describe your own experience, honestly.

Ending

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@homr.online. Closing archives your records, and we keep what the law and any open payments or disputes require.

Limits

Homr is not responsible for a Vendor’s work, prices, delays or damage. Because your account is free, our total responsibility to you for anything connected with Homr is limited to $100, to the fullest extent the law allows.

The law, changes and the rest

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, and any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Benton County, Arkansas.

If we change this agreement, we will post the new version here with a new date and ask you to accept it.

We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over Homr. If any part of it cannot be enforced, the rest still stands. This agreement and the Terms of Service are the whole agreement between you and us about Homr.
